Country houses: features of architectural styles

Types and styles of country houses

Layout implies proportionality, rigor and harmony of lines.

Materials for this style need natural. To decorate the facade of the house use limestone, marble, granite, travertine. The roof is made of natural tiles, copper or zinc-titanium sheet, slate. Fences and lattices are made of forged metal.The style is more suitable for large manor houses.

Art Nouveau style

The whimsical and ornate forms of the modernist style do not spoil the house at all, because the style implies not only a departure from strict forms, but also a sense of proportion. The style is characterized by:

The abundance of smoothly curving lines in the form of windows, doorways, roofs and other elements;
The facade is often decorated with floral and floral patterns;
Roofs are complex in shape with decorative half-timbers.

Country style

Country-style has incorporated many types of houses in the style of traditions of various countries. Naturally, the requirements for the architecture and material of each house are different. If we compare, for example, the Russian style and English, it will be seen that not only the building material is different, but also the features of architecture. Russian style means houses made of wood. Most often these are log houses of various shapes and heights. Modern style

The style that architects call modern, as a rule, is distinguished by the absence of strict stylistic rules, as well as the use of new materials in the construction of houses. A lot of glass, light metal structures are easily combined in this style with inexpensive modern materials. In houses built in any of the modern styles, there is brightness, originality, aesthetics and expressiveness. If we consider all the above architectural styles, it is worth noting that they also have their own pseudo-style, which refutes all architectural canons and sets its own conditions for the construction of a country house.
