Key trends in this year’s interior design

Fashion trends in design are not subject to rapid change. Trendy colors and shades

Quite deep, but soft shades were presented - saturated, but not cutting eyes. Classic white, black and gray of all kinds never go out of fashion. Experts from Ikea assure that ferrous metal and cork will remain at the peak of relevance, and pink metals, marble and products from sisal and jute will go to rest in the coming years. In the interiors there must be natural surfaces that you want to touch with your hand - wooden, stone and metal with a pronounced texture. It will become relevant for any style. Qualitative imitations of natural materials are not forbidden. All leading designers note the need to use recycled wood to reduce damage to nature. Nut shades of wood come into fashion. At the peak of fashion there will also be stone carving. The use of artificial stone and even concrete in the interior will be relevant. Glossy surfaces are replaced by matte, shiny nickel gives way to chiseled brass.

Decor

Maintaining the trend of ecology and the desire for textured natural surfaces, designers offer to pay attention to ceramics. Burnt clay will be present in the decor, accessories and even furniture. Ceramic vases, figurines will put a fashionable point in the design of the house. Not completely forgotten and plastic. It will be an excellent alternative to ceramics in those places where impact resistance and practicality are needed - in squares, cinemas, street cafes.

Plants in the interior

Indoor flowers have always enlivened the interior. Now designers are offering to decorate their homes with succulents - plants from the desert. These include:

Succulents are unpretentious in comparison with ordinary flowers and look original.

Textile

For furniture, velvet, velveteen, leather and silk are relevant. Aged textiles and wall coverings made of fabric do not go out of fashion. Geometric prints replace vegetable ones. Asymmetry and various geometric shapes are relevant for facades, home textiles, pillows, rugs, paintings and ceramics.

Forms

Asymmetric aerial metal constructions are in fashion. They give the interior weightlessness and airiness. Wall coverings with geometric patterns emphasize a simple but dynamic interior.
